A Little About Me

I grew up in Twin Falls, Idaho, attended University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon for my bachelor’s degree and then Portland State University for my Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Special Education.  My family loves being in the outdoors- hiking, rock climbing, camping, playing tennis and gardening.

This is my 21st year teaching preschool age children with special needs in the Boise School District.  This is the nineth year that Boise School District’s Early Childhood Special Education Program will be partnering with Head Start in our community classroom at Madison Early Childhood Center. This is a great opportunity for children with special needs to interact with typically developing peers. I also teach a preschool class to all children who have special needs. 

I believe in partnering with families and focusing and building upon each child’s individual interests and strengths.
