History

Welcome to our school!

The Madison Early Childhood Center, is a cooperative effort between the Boise School District’s Early Childhood Special Education Program and Friends of Children and Families Head Start program. The collaboration between the Boise School District and Head Start programs opened in the fall of 2004. Collaboration between the Boise School District and Head Start programs help to ensure that all children have the services they need to be successful in school.

The Early Childhood Special Education program provides Special Education services to children between the ages of 3 to 5, and support to their families. Our goal is to better prepare our students for school and reduce the need for special education services once they begin kindergarten or first grade.
